Ben-Itto, Hadassah
Hadassah Ben-Itto was born in Poland in 1926 and emigrated to Israel in 1935. Israel. She completed her legal studies at the University of Tel-Aviv in 1953 and was appointed as a judge of the Magistrate's Court in Tel Aviv in 1960. In 1970 she was appointed as a judge in the District Court in Tel Aviv, and she received a temporary appointment as Supreme Court Justice in 1980. In 1989 she was appointed Vice President of the District Court of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, where she served until she retired in 1991. In 1998 she published the bestselling book "The Lie That Wouldn’t Die: The Protocol of the Elders of Zion," a volume dedicated to the history of the infamous Protocols. In 2007 she was awarded the Chaim Herzog prize, recognizing those who make a unique contribution to the State of Israel and the Diaspora.
