Berinson, Zvi

Zvi Berinson was born in 1907 in Safed. He moved to England in 1931 and, in 1934, received a bachelor's degree from the University of Cambridge in England. He returned to Israel in 1936, where he served as chief counsel of the Histadrut until 1949. In 1953, he was appointed as a justice on the Israeli Supreme Court. He retired in 1977. Justice Berinson died on January 30th, 2001 at the age of 93.
