Goldberg, Eliezer
Eliezer Goldberg was born in Jerusalem in 1931 and studied law at the Hebrew University between 1952-1955. In 1964 Goldberg began his career as a judge in a traffic court and gradually made his way up to the Supreme Court, to which he was appointed in 1983. Upon his retirement in 1998, Goldberg was appointed as the State Comptroller of Israel, a position in which he served until 2005. In 2006 Goldberg received an award from the Movement for Quality Government in Israel for his contributions in the field of law.
