Levin, Shlomo
Shlomo Levin was born in Riga, Latvia, in 1933 and immigrated to Israel in 1937. Levin received his legal education from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, completing an LL.M. in 1955 and an LL.D. in 1959. In 1966, Levin was appointed to the Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court, and in 1975 to the District Court. In 1980, he was appointed to the Supreme Court and remained there until his retirement in 2003.
