Strasberg-Cohen, Tova

Born in Poland in 1933, Tova Strasberg-Cohen immigrated to Israel with her family in 1934 and grew up in Jerusalem. Strasberg-Cohen received her legal education at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and completed there an LL.M. in 1955. Between 1958 and 1977 she worked in private practice. In 1977 Strasberg-Cohen was appointed to the Haifa Magistrate’s Court and in 1978 to the District Court. In 1994 she was appointed to the Supreme Court and remained in that position until her retirement in 2003.
